How to Read a SHAPE Product Page
The short answer: Four things, in this order: the size run, because it is not the same on every style; the colours actually in stock; the padding level; and whether there is a wire, which for us is always no. Then apply the size-up rule, which depends on which kind of bra you are looking at.
Ordering a bra online is mostly an exercise in not being able to see the thing you need to know. The page has the answers, but they are spread around it. Here is the order to read them in.
One: the size run, which differs by style
This is the one women skip, and it causes the most wrong orders. Our styles do not all run the same range.

So “all sizes” is never the answer. Check the specific style. Most styles run M to 3XL, with core styles reaching 5XL. Band-and-cup styles come in bands 34 to 44, cups A to DD.
Two: colours in stock, not colours shown
A page may show a shade that is out of stock in your size. The size and colour selectors tell you what is actually available; the photographs tell you what exists. Those are two different things.
On colour: something close to your skin disappears under pale clothing. Coffee outsells every other shade we make, and maroon also vanishes under white. We do not call any colour nude.
Three: padding, and whether the pad comes out
Padding is doing one of two jobs: stopping show-through, or adding shape. Light moulded padding does the first. Heavier padding does both. On most of our seamless styles the pad slides out, so one bra gives you a padded and a non-padded version.
If you want genuinely non-padded from the start, that is Un-Lined Bra.
Four: the wire, and the size-up rule
Every SHAPE bra is wire-free, so there is nothing to check here except to know it. Lift comes from structure, not from wire: Plus Size Sculpting Bra, Seamless Contour Bra and Sure Cover Bra are the styles that lift.
Then the rule that decides your size:
- Seamless styles: between sizes, go up one.
- Push-up and band-and-cup styles such as Comfort Curve Bra: stay at your exact band and cup.
