Content Creator
Makes SHAPE's content every day: reels, statics and stories, shot, edited, named and ready to post the same day, from real women, real stores and real fittings.
Full-time, Dhaka. At least five years of content work, or two inside a lifestyle, retail or direct to consumer brand. Fifteen finished pieces a day is the bar from week one.
Why this role exists
The stories are already here. Nobody is filming them
SHAPE has fitted women across seven stores in Dhaka since 2019. Most of them have a story about the first time they were measured. Almost none of those stories are on camera. The stores, the staff and the women are the content. What is missing is one person whose whole job is to capture it, cut it, and get it out, every working day.
The amount SHAPE can say to women each day is limited by how much it makes, not by how much it can spend. This role is how much it makes.
The work
What you own
- Make. Shoot and edit five reels and ten static pieces every working day, ready to post the same day. Cut every reel and static into stories the same day. Film real women, real staff and real stores, with permission every time and a release form on file. Product content for every new piece: on body, on hanger, in detail.
- Learn. Turn the questions women ask in our inbox and our stores into short fit education pieces. Record testimonials in the stores, with the woman's consent, in her words. Keep a running list of what performed and shoot more of what worked.
- Keep. Name and file every piece the day it is made, and add one row to the content sheet for each: link, product, hook, date, status. A piece that is not named and in the sheet is not finished. Nobody else files your work.
- Ad ready. Every ad candidate leaves your hands ready to run: 9:16, under 45 seconds, product visible in the first 3 seconds, the SHAPE logo on screen in the last 2 seconds, and a call to action end card. The paid media partner must be able to run it without asking you anything.
- Write. Captions in Bangla and English, the way women in Dhaka actually mix them.
Fit
Who this is for
Someone who publishes every day already and can show it. You shoot on a phone and on a camera, edit on your phone and on a laptop, and you post the same day. You use AI tools to go faster and you can say which ones, and what you never let them do.
You can walk into a store, make a stranger comfortable on camera, and get the shot in twenty minutes. On a shoot or a store Live you are behind the camera, not in the comments. You are comfortable around intimate apparel, fittings and women's bodies of every size, and you film them with respect. SHAPE content passes the test of being watched next to your mother.
If you would rather wait for a brief than go and make the thing, this is the wrong seat.
Background
Experience we value
Minimum experience: at least five years of content work in total, or at least two years inside a lifestyle, retail or direct to consumer brand. On top of that, a demonstrated track record of publishing every day. Candidates who can show a month of consecutive daily output, anywhere, will be prioritised.
Relevant experience, in order of preference.
- A creator who has published daily, on their own account or for a brand, and can show the numbers.
- A videographer or editor from a content studio, agency or production house, used to volume and deadlines.
- A fashion, beauty or lifestyle content maker who has shot real people, not only products.
What you must bring. A link to work you made and the proof that you made it: reels, statics, and at least one piece with a real person in it, pointing to the items you directly led and created, not the team you sat in. Captions in Bangla and English without help. The habit of naming and filing your own work the day you make it.
Placement is set by your experience, your skill set and your portfolio.
The day
A typical day
- Morning. Read the brief. Pick the day's five reels and ten statics. Shoot at the office, or travel to a store.
- Midday. Edit. Caption. Cut stories. Hand everything over by mid afternoon, named and in the sheet.
- Afternoon. Second shoot: a store, a fitting, a product, a testimonial. Edit and hand over before the end of the day.
- Weekly. One longer piece: a founder interview, a store story, or a fit lesson. One review of what performed.
Measures and pay
How you are measured, and how you are paid
Named here so you know what the job is judged on. Targets are set with you in writing when you start.
- Pieces finished per day, against the daily bar of five reels and ten statics
- Same day delivery. The share of pieces handed over on the day they were shot
- Ad ready and filed. The share of pieces that are named, in the sheet, and ready to run the day they are finished
- Stores covered per week. Every store gets its own content
- Real women on screen, as a share of all pieces
- What performed. Reach and saves per piece, reviewed weekly with the Founder
Pay is negotiable, set by your experience, your skill set and your portfolio. Tell us in the application the monthly pay you want, and we will tell you at the first call whether it fits.
