Deep Neckline? The Plunge Lite Is Back
The short answer: A deep V or a low-cut kameez needs a bra whose centre sits below the neckline, or the bra shows. That is what a plunge is for. Plunge Lite is, wire-free, lightly padded and runs M to XL. It is not the right choice if your breasts point outward.
You have the outfit with the lower neckline, and every bra you own appears in it. So the outfit stays in the cupboard, or you wear it and spend the evening checking. This is a solvable problem and it needs one specific bra.
What makes a plunge a plunge
The centre gore, the piece of fabric between the two cups, is cut low. On a full-coverage bra that piece sits high between the breasts, which is what gives the band its stability and what shows in a deep neckline. On a plunge it is reduced, so the cups meet lower down.
Everything else follows from that. A plunge gives slightly less coverage at the top, it holds a V shape rather than a round one, and it needs the band to do more of the work because the centre is doing less.

When a plunge is the wrong answer
Two cases, and both are common enough to say plainly.
If your breasts sit wide apart and point outward, a low centre opens that gap further rather than gathering. Seamless Contour Bra is the better choice, because the moulded cup has a defined inner edge.
If you get a second line across the top of the cup under fitted clothes, a plunge makes it worse, because it is cut low across the top by design. A higher-cut style such as Mesh Minimizer Bra, Sure Cover Bra is what you want there.
Sizing a plunge
Here is where it differs from the rest of the range. On a seamless bra, if you are between sizes we tell you to go up one, because the fabric holds. On a plunge, stay at your exact size: the cup is shaped to sit in one position and a size up slides and gapes at the centre.
Most styles run M to 3XL, with core styles reaching 5XL. Band-and-cup styles come in bands 34 to 44, cups A to DD.
Questions women ask us
Is Plunge Lite padded enough to stop show-through?
Yes. The pad is light but moulded, which is what stops show-through. Moulding matters more than thickness.
Can I wear it every day?
You can, though it is cut for a purpose. For everyday a full-coverage style is more comfortable over a long day.
Does it come above XL?
It runs M to XL at present. For a fuller bust with a lower neckline, Comfort Curve Bra is sized by band and cup, bands 38 to 44, cups C to DD.
What if my neckline is both deep and backless?
Then you need a strapless, and the Bare Skin Strapless Bra is our only one. Message us to check your size first.
