Packing for Bangkok, Kolkata or London: The Innerwear List
The short answer: Two everyday seamless bras, one with more lift for evenings, the Bare Skin Strapless Bra (when in stock) if a dress needs it, and enough Seamless Boyshorts for the trip. Pack for your body and the weather, not the destination. Seamless fabrics wash fast, dry overnight in a hotel bathroom and take up almost no space.
You are packing for a trip and staring at your bra drawer. How many do you bring? Do you need different bras for different outfits? Will they survive a week in a suitcase? Here is the list we give to every woman who asks.
The packing list
Two everyday bras. One to wear, one to wash. Seamless styles dry fastest and pack flattest. The Seamless Air Bra is the lightest.
One structured bra for evenings. If you have a dinner, a wedding or a night out, a Seamless Contour Bra gives you more shape under fitted clothes.
One strapless, if your outfits need it. A sleeveless dress, a deep-back blouse, a tube top. The Bare Skin Strapless Bra (when in stock) is built for this.
Enough panties. One per day, plus one spare. Seamless Boyshorts dry overnight and do not show lines under anything.
How to pack them
Stack the cups inside each other, do not fold them flat. Folding creases the padding and warps the cup shape. Put them at the top of your suitcase or in a packing cube.
Roll panties instead of folding them. They take up less space and come out without creases.
Bring one mesh wash bag. Hand-wash bras in cold water with a drop of liquid soap, rinse, roll in a towel to press out water, then hang to dry. Seamless bras dry overnight in most climates. Nylon-spandex does not hold water the way cotton does.
Adjusting for the destination
| Destination | Climate note | Adjust |
|---|---|---|
| Bangkok, Bali, coastal | Hot and humid | Lighter bras, more panties, skip the strapless if you are wearing loose clothes |
| Kolkata, Delhi, Dhaka | Hot or cold depending on season | Standard list; add a structured bra for wedding events |
| London, Europe, cold | Cold and layered | A firmer band holds better under layers; the strapless stays home unless a dress demands it |
Questions women ask us
Can I get away with just one bra?
For a weekend, yes. For anything longer, you need a second one to wash and rotate. A bra worn two days straight stretches faster and loses its shape.
Should I buy bras abroad?
You can, but sizing systems differ between countries. If you know your SHAPE size, stick to it. If you are trying a new brand, get fitted there before buying.
How do I wash a bra in a hotel?
Cold water, a drop of liquid soap, soak for five minutes, rinse, roll in a towel to squeeze out water, hang to dry. No hot water, no wringing, no tumble dryer.
Do I need a sports bra for travel?
Only if you plan to exercise. For sightseeing, walking and flights, an everyday seamless bra is enough.
