The short answer: Your size in a seamless and your size in a structured bra are not the same. Each style sits differently on the same body: cup depth, band tension and strap width all vary. You bought a 36C last time and it was perfect. Now you are looking at a different style, same brand, same size label, and it does not fit the same way. You are not imagining it.
Why the same size label fits differently
A size label is a starting point, not a guarantee. The cup shape, the fabric stretch, the band width and the strap placement all change between styles. A seamless bra moulds around you; a structured one holds a fixed shape. Your tissue fills them differently.
This is why we say: ask once per style. Not once per order, not once per year. Once per style.
What the advisor checks that a size chart cannot
A size chart gives you a band and a cup from two measurements. A fit advisor also checks:
Projection. How far your tissue extends from the chest wall. A shallow cup on a projecting shape will gap at the top.
Root width. Where the breast tissue starts and ends at the side. A narrow-root bra on a wide root squeezes.
Position. High-set tissue needs a different cup angle from tissue that sits lower.
These three things change which size works in which style, even when your tape measurement stays the same.
How long does it take?
Two minutes at the counter. One minute to measure, one minute to compare styles. You can also do it over video on WhatsApp; same process, same accuracy. Exchange within 7 days of delivery, unworn and unwashed. Exchange only, and panties are excluded. Online orders are not exchanged in stores.
Questions women ask us
Can I just order my usual size?
You can, and it might work. But if the style is different from what you wore before, the odds of an exchange go up. Two minutes prevents that.
Do I need to come to a store every time?
No. Once you have been fitted in a style, you know your size in that style. For a new style, a quick video call on WhatsApp is enough.
What if my size is different in every style?
That is normal. It does not mean something is wrong with your body. It means the bras are shaped differently.
