Under an Abaya on a Long, Hot Day
The short answer: Under an abaya the bra is doing two jobs: holding for a long day, and not producing a line that shows through a single draped layer. Sure Cover Bra gives coverage and lift with a wide band. Mesh Minimizer Bra does the same with mesh panels and a smaller projected line.
An abaya is one layer, often dark, often worn for the whole day in heat. That combination makes the bra underneath matter more rather than less, which is the opposite of what people assume about modest dress.
The two requirements
It has to breathe. One layer over a bra, in Dhaka, for fifteen hours. Our fabric is nylon-spandex, which absorbs sweat and dries fast rather than holding it against your skin. Mesh panels, as on Mesh Minimizer Bra, move air where it matters most.
It must not print. A single draped layer will show a ridge from a band that is too tight, or a seam from a stitched cup edge. Bonded edges and a wide, correctly sized band solve both.

Most styles run M to 3XL, with core styles reaching 5XL. Band-and-cup styles come in bands 34 to 44, cups A to DD. Between sizes on a seamless style, go up one.
Why a minimizer is not a compression garment
Worth being clear, because the name misleads. A minimizer redistributes rather than squashes. The cup is cut higher and wider, so the same volume sits closer to your body and projects less. It is not tighter than another bra at the same size, and it should not feel like it is.
If a minimizer feels tight, it is the wrong size rather than the wrong style.
Colour, under dark fabric
Under a black or navy abaya, colour barely matters for visibility, so choose for comfort and for what works under your other clothes. Coffee is our best-selling shade and disappears under pale clothing too, which makes it the more useful buy if you are only getting one.
A black bra under a black abaya is fine. It just will not do anything for you under a white kameez.

What is coolest for summer under an abaya?
Seamless Air Bra is the lightest we make, though it gives less support than the Sure Cover.
Will the hooks show through one layer?
Not if the band is the correct size. Hooks show when a band is too tight, because it creates a ridge.
